My expected activities are as follows:

1)  Teaching a doctorate course on "Quasi-Linear Evolution Equations of Hyperbolic and Parabolic Type, and Applications"  at the Department of Mathematics, based on the book "Quasi-Linear Evolution Equations in Hilbert Spaces" (AMS 2012, P. Cherrier and A. Milani). This topic is of importance in many applied fields, including e.g. Maxwell's equations of electromagnetic theory.

2) Collaborating with Professors E. Serra and P. Tilli, and their graduate students of the Department of Mathematics, in research concerning linear and nonlinear elliptic equations with higher order Laplace operators in bounded domains, based on the results on the whole spaces reported in the book "Evolution Equations of von Karman Type" (Lect. Notes UMI, 2015, P. Cherrier and A. Milani). This topic is also of importance in various fields, such as e.g. the von Karman equations of elasticity.

3) Exploring potential collaboration with colleagues of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications on mathematical problems related to inverse Fresnel equations in satellite system reflectometry.
