Robert Bidulsky is responsible for the Powder Metallurgy R&D Center in Slovakia and co-chair of international Materia/s Science Network . He got his title of Associate professar in 2014 at the Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia, where he a/so covered the position of vice-dean (2014-2016). Previously (to 2008) he worked as a researcher in the lnstitute of Materials Research of Slovak Academy of Sciences in Kosice and /ater as a foreign researcher at Politecnico di Torino (2008-2012). He published more than 90 research papers with H index 13. He is Editor of Acta Metallurgica Slovaca journal indexed by Scopus and Emerging Sources Citation lndex. His scientific work focuses mainly on powder metallurgy (PM).

Alessio Fumagalli is currently Postdoctoral Researcher in the academic field of numerical analysis, academic discipline in numerical methods and mathematical modeling for flow in fractured porous media. Department of Mathematics, University of Bergen, Norway. Prof. Fumagalli has worked in 3 European countries (Italy, France, Norway) and has an international collaboration record of 11 research groups at universities, research institutes, and private companies in 5
countries (Italy, France, Norway, Portugal, Germany). His publications have received significant attention by the scientific community citing two papers more than 50 times each (Google Scholar). In total he has 14
journal publications and 4 conference proceedings. In the last years, he has collaborated with several members of the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Politecnico di Torino, with great mutuai benefits. The
research project is focused on the mathematical modeling and numerical solution for hydro-mechanical phenomena in fractured porous media. There are several numerical and modelinq challenges, mainly related to complex fracture networks in the rock matrix which make standard techniques inapplicable to give accurate solutions in a reasonable time. A pressure variation may stimulate a mechanical change, which will induce an alteration of the fracture aperture and thus a change in the pressure, leading to a coupled system.

Dr. Tessler earned a Ph.D. degree in Structural Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1979. He started his professional career working as a senior aerospace engineer at Northrop Corporation in Hawthorne, California (1980-83), where he developed analytic and computational methods for linear and nonlinear composite structures in support of advanced fighter aircraft designs. He continued his career working at the U.S. Army Materials Technology Laboratory, Watertown, Massachusetts (1983-91), where as principal Investigator and program manager he formulated, managed, and conducted basic and applied structural integrity programs involving analytic and computational mechanics research. During the period of 1991 – 2017, Dr. Tessler worked as a senior research scientist at the NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia.

Juan A. Fraire is an associate professor at FAMAF (Faculty of Mathematics, Astronomy, Physics and Computing) from the UNC (National University of Córdoba) since 2012 and permanent staff researcher at CONICET (National Council of Scientific and Technical Research) in Argentina since 2017. Juan obtained his Telecomunications Enginnering degree at IUA in 2008 with important academic achievements and honors and worked for the New Product Introduction of Motorola and Nokia WiMAX and LTE products on a world-wide scale. He completed his PhD at UNC in 2015 before staying as a postdoc in TIMA laboratories in Grenoble, France for two years. Juan’s current research domain is delay-tolerant networking applied in deep space and near-Earth domains. He collaborates with colleagues from NASA, ESA, CNSA, CONAE and other space-realted companies and universities. With only 5 years as a researcher, Juan is the author the Delay-Tolerant Satellite Networks book, two book chapters and co-author of more than 45 papers in international conferences and journals. He is one of the founder and chair of the annual Space Terrestrial Internetworking (STINT) workshop which runs since 2014. The STINT nucleates goverment and private efforts in the development of novel and sustainable approaches towards space networking.

The electric vehicle is the future of mobility, and this is due to its unquestionable economic and environmental advantages. The main current limitation to its full implementation comes from the lower autonomy compared to traditional vehicles. Taking advantage of wireless charging technology (WPT), it is possible to increase this autonomy if the vehicle is recharged either with the vehicle stationary (static charging) or in motion (dynamic charging).
As a professor and researcher at the University of Zaragoza, I have been studying and developing wireless charging systems for VE for the last 10 years, field in which my publications have a recognized prestige according to the number of citations. The complete development of a wireless charging system includes not only the optimal design of the inductive coupling (with Matlab), but also the powering system (power electronics) and the development of an suitable shielding (Finite Elements Programs).

Prof. Wadhams is the UK's most experienced sea ice scientist, with 49 years of research in sea ice and ocean processes in the Arctic and the Antarctic. He is an Emeritus Professar of Ocean Physics at Cambridge and ithe author of over 300 publications on dynamics and thermodynamics of sea ice, sea ice thickness, waves in ice, icebergs, ocean convection and kindred top ics. Current main topics of research are sea ice properties, dynamics and distributions in thickness and concentration, as well as the wider impact of sea ice retreat on global climate change.

He was coordinator ofthe EU GreeniCE and CONVECTION projects and until recently was on the Steering Committee ofEU FP7 ICE-ARC. From 2004 to 2012, he was on the Scientific Committee of the European Environment Agency. In 1990 he received the Italgas Prize for Environmental Sciences, and he has also been awarded the Polar Medal (UK) and the W.S. Bruce Prize ofthe Royal Society of Edinburgh.
