Prof. Rahimpour received his Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of lsfahan in 2000. He entered graduate school in 2000 and upon completion of his studies in 2009 (MSc and PhD), he joined the faculty of the Chemical Engineering Department  at  Babol Noushirvani University of Technology as an Assistant Professar . He has developed great competencies in polymer and polymer applications for more than 8 years. Dr. Rahimpour was selected as one of the university 's Outstanding Teachers in 2013. He played an active  role in various committees for teaching effectiveness and to improve academic programs . He  was promoted to Associate professar in 2013.  Rahimpour's  research  concerns  drinking  water treatment, wastewater  treatment and  reuse,  membrane  fabrication,  functionalization  and application . He studies the effect of polymer structure on the solubility, diffusivity, and permeability of small molecules in  polymers and polymer-based materials. These  fundamental  studies  have direct significant for liquid, gas , and vapor separations . His research group is currently developing MOF/polymer membranes for liquid and gas applications . He published over  95  peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters with >4200 citation and an H-index of 36
