Robert Bidulsky is responsible for the Powder Metallurgy R&D Center in Slovakia and co-chair of international Materia/s Science Network . He got his title of Associate professar in 2014 at the Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia, where he a/so covered the position of vice-dean (2014-2016). Previously (to 2008) he worked as a researcher in the lnstitute of Materials Research of Slovak Academy of Sciences in Kosice and /ater as a foreign researcher at Politecnico di Torino (2008-2012). He published more than 90 research papers with H index 13. He is Editor of Acta Metallurgica Slovaca journal indexed by Scopus and Emerging Sources Citation lndex. His scientific work focuses mainly on powder metallurgy (PM).

The proposed research activity wi/1 be mainly focused on materials processed by means of PM. In particular , the following two topics are intended to be of high relevance: stainless stee/s and insu/ated iron powder compounds - l/PC. The aim is to investigate plastic deformations under asymmetric rolling (ASR) conditions on a 316LN bulk and 316L powder materia/ basis at room temperatures (RT) and cryogenic conditions (CR). The main outcomes of l/PC wi/1 be the originai scientific resu/ts obtained by the research with respect to microstructure, physica/ and mechanical properties.
