How to build and present a competitive idea and cv for individual grants

9am-12pm, online (Zoom platform)

The workshop, organized by the Research Support Department, aims to encourage researchers to become competitive candidates in individual funding programs such as the European Research Council (ERC) and the Marie Sklodowska Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA PF).

This workshop is primarily designed for post-doc researchers in the first years after the PhD award, but participation is open to doctoral students, research fellows and professors of the Politecnico di Torino.

The training will provide information on the characteristics of the CV of an expert researcher, will explain how to "build" such a CV and how to present and valorize it during the proposal-writing phase.
The principles and objectives underlying these funding programs will also be presented, the specific terminologies and conditions that make an idea ground-breaking and the results break-through.

Workshop structure:

· June 11th, 9.00-12.00 (CEST): live webinar on “How to build and present a competitive idea and CV for individual grants”
· Learning platform: Individual study of training resources (live webinar recording, video, slide and handbook)
The workshop will be held in English, presented by Lotte Jaspers of the Yellow Research company.

Registration is mandatory at the link - before 10.06.2021 (12:00 CEST)
